What our other visitors are saying
Wow, what an amazing experience in outback Queensland. Matt our guide was very informative. We saw the moon and it’s craters, Jupiter, Saturn, Alfa Santorius and Beta. Matt pointed out the Southern Cross, Scorpio, Sagittarius and the Milky Way. A definite must see while travelling out west
We booked the small and personal session tonight and were hosted by Ash who was young, keen, funny & knowledgeable. He has an obvious passion for his work and it was a very informative evening. Now I want to do the sun session!
We really enjoyed ourselves!
Great experience to see stars and planets without the big city lights obscuring them. Our guide was very knowledgeable and told us lots of fun facts. I can now spot Jupiter and Saturn every night!
Great experience, main reason for travelling to town.
Book early to make sure you can get tickets. Night show not to be missed
The Cosmos Experience is great for families. Not very expensive and will entertain the kids as it’s not too late. We went to the 7.30pm session. You are ushered to what looks like a tin shed in the dark. You take a seat and the roof opens to reveal the night sky. If it’s a cool night, take something warm. Matthew was our host for the session and he was personable and knowledgeable. The telescope set up is great and we saw Jupiter’s stripes and moons, Saturn’s rings and moons as well as Alpha Centauri and beautiful star clusters. Well worth a visit.
